The Institute of Classical Philology is an academic and teaching unit within the Faculty of Philology at the Jagiellonian University. It currently comprises two departments: the Department of Greek and Modern Greek Philology and the Department of Latin and Neo-Latin Philology.
The Institute offers a three-year full-time undergraduate program (Bachelor’s degree) in Classical Philology, as well as a two-year full-time graduate program (Master’s degree) in Classical Philology with two specializations:
•    Classical Philology
•    Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies
Our programs combine rigorous training in ancient languages and literature with a broad humanistic perspective, preparing students for advanced research and diverse professional paths.
